They are natural temperature regulator; they help your home to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Clay tiles usually choose people who prefer Mediterranean or Spanish house style. Slate is natural roofing material. Its life expectancy is around hundred years. Natural slate looks beautiful and gives your home elegant appearance. But it has excellent qualities, too. This material is resistant to insects and water; it is fireproof and strong. But it is also very expensive and demands extra support for the roof structure. Synthetic slate is composition material which combines strength, beauty and longevity of a true slate with much lower prices of modern synthetic materials. Metal roofing has become very popular these days. This is very good roofing material for cold climate with snow and ice. Metal roofs are made of copper, zinc, aluminum and steel. Copper is the most beautiful but at the same time the most expensive material. Galvanized steel is the most popular metal roofing material. It comes in many sizes and profiles for standing seam systems. Metal panels are non combustible and maintenance free. They give your home modern look and represent high quality residential roofing materials.
